As for when or where the photo was taken, all I can say is they are sitting on a couch in someone's living room and it must have been BG (before Gus) which would make it pre-1945.

Identifying the ladies wasn't a problem for anyone, of course, but the gentleman's identity was somewhat of a mystery for most of you.

Marilyn said, "This man's name spelled backwards is boB. I believe he is Grandma's bow before Gus." And she guessed the year to be 1944.

Jennifer said, "Mary (aka Turk), Lena Bell, Grandma Pauline, and perhaps Great Grandpa Love?" And she guessed the year to be 1943.

Jason said, "If I am guessing the women correctly , then it only makes sense for this to be Gus." And he guessed the year to be 1955.

Here is what Jenny's thought, "Aunt Mary, a man that grandma dated named Ruben or Rube, Grandma Pauline and Mom. Location, maybe Grandma's house? Can't remember the name of the place but it is above Marmet. Mom and Aunt Mary were probably teenagers so I am guessing 1945. They all look to be dressed up....wonder where they were going?"

Lena Bell wrote, "The picture was taken in the house we lived in at Chesapeake, WV. Ruben Parker is the man's name and he did take care of Turk and I all through our high school years. Actually you (James R. Love - Ed.) were born in the front bedroom of this very same house! This picture was probably around 1945."
